Welcome to Little Dumplings Childcare! I'm Ms. Tina, the owner and a Level 3 Educator in this Alberta agency licensed day home. With over seven years of teaching experience in settings including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and play-based approaches, I create a dynamic environment where children thrive.
My program combines play-based learning, bilingual exposure to Mandarin and English, and music-infused activities to nurture your child’s development. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe environment where children can interact, grow, and refine skills with confidence and comfort.

Program Information
Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Age Groups: Licensed for children 12 months to 5 years.
Now Accepting: Children ages 3-5.
Fees: $326.25 per month.
Drop-Ins: $100 per day (subject to availability)
Philosophy: Ms. Tina creatively blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles with interactive methods like bilingual exposure and music to cultivate a supportive community, helping children thrive in all areas of development.

10:30-11:00: Circle Time (Music/Language/Learning Spotlight)
11:00-12:00: Free Play / Prepare for Lunch
12:00-12:45: Lunch
12:45-2:45: Nap / Quiet Activities
2:45-3:15: Afternoon Snack
3:15-4:15: Physical Activities (Indoor/Outdoor)
4:15-5:00: Pick Up / Free Play

Three-Day Operation for Quality Care & Planning – Dedicated days in between allow me to plan, prepare, and recharge, ensuring your child is learning from a well-rested, energized, and fully present educator.
Enrollment Information
1. Initial Inquiry: Reach out via email or text with any questions about our program, availability, and how we can meet your child’s needs.
2. Tour and Meet & Greet: Schedule a visit to our day home to meet Ms. Tina and explore our facilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to get familiar with the environment and start building a connection with Ms. Tina.
3. Enrollment Package: After the tour, if you feel we’re the right fit, we’ll provide a parent handbook and enrollment package. This includes important information about our policies, as well as forms to complete your child’s enrollment.
4. Deposit & Registration Fees: There are no registration fees. A $300 deposit may be required to hold a spot for an extended period and will be refunded once enrollment is confirmed by the agency. Parents have one week to register with the agency before the spot is offered to another family.
5. Start Date & Transition Plan: Once the paperwork and fees are finalized, we’ll confirm your child’s start date. If a gradual transition is needed, we’ll work together to create a plan to ensure your child feels comfortable.
